Obituary
Lee Andrew Swangim, born on April 23, 1963, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, in Detroit, Michigan, at the age of 62.
Lee had a deep passion for music, which brought joy to his life and those around him. He also loved the freedom and thrill of riding motorcycles, finding solace on the open road. In his leisure time, he enjoyed building remote-controlled cars, a hobby that showcased his creativity and attention to detail.
He was preceded in death by his father, Grover Swangim, and his brother, Kevin Swangim.
He is survived by his mother, Linda, who cherished him dearly, and his children, Mical Kesler and Dena Kutschman, who were the pride of his life. He leaves behind a beloved grandchild, Peyton Kutschman. His brother, William Grover (Leigh Murphy) Swangim will hold his memory close, as well as his ex-wife, Dawn Swangim, niece Megan (Dennis), nephews Justin and Kevin, and great-niece and nephew Makenna and Brayden.
Lee will be remembered fondly by his family and friends for his love of life, his gentle spirit, and his unwavering love for those he held dear.
