SHABINAW, Leland F., age 87, of Newport, March 07, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Judyth Shabinaw. Loving father of Robert (Bonnie) Shabinaw, MaryAlice (Mark) Stotler and step-father of Brad (Robbin) Hanson and Wade Andrew Hanson. Dearest grandfather of Kyle (Amanda), Travis (Lynsie), Ciara, Chase, Cole, Logan (Lindsey) and Braden and great-grandfather of Jacob, Brynnley and William. He is also survived by his special friends Kayla Tafelski, Mary Ann Gennoe and his fur baby Magic. He is preceded in death by his parents Amos and Genevieve Shabinaw and his brother Eugene Shabinaw.

Condolences

So very sad to hear of your loss . Lee was always fun loving and upbeat. Always fun to be around . So sad that these last few years we could not visit in person ,we were looking forward to visiting our loved one this year.Your dad was my second cousin ,my mom is Lois . We are in Florida for the winter so will be unable to attend the service . And my mom is here too. We send our love to you all,and our sympathy for your loss . I only got to know Lee for a short time. But, in that short time, he was awesome. I wish I would've made the time to visit him more often and not just during work visits to the bay area. I hope he's hanging with my father (Snooks) golfing, laughing and telling jokes. Sorry for you loss
