Obituary
Linda Ann Sarnia, born on May 1, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025, in Monroe, Michigan, at the age of 84. Throughout her long and fulfilling life, Linda was known for her love of music, and passion for card games.
She was a classically trained pianist who dedicated over 60 years to playing the piano, bringing joy to those around her with her beautiful music. Linda also had a love for playing poker and gin rummy, always eager to engage friends and family in a friendly game of cards.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gerald, daughter Cheryl, grandson Ryan, her parents, Paul and Emily Siehl, and her sister, Paula (Larry) Kersten. Her memory and legacy continue to be cherished by her surviving children: Theresa, Paul, Tim (and his wife Lisa), and Scott (Terri). She is also survived by her grandchildren David, Cori, Emily, Shayna, Haley, William and Abby, as well as her great-children Carson, Giovanni and Esmay, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Linda will be remembered fondly by her family and friends for her warmth, her music, and her love for gathering people around the card table. Her spirit lives on through the music she loved and the hearts she touched.
