Obituary

Linda Fay Sabo, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on October 3, 2026, in Trenton, Michigan, at the age of 76. Born on July 4, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, Linda embraced life as a proud "Fourth of July baby," often referred to fondly as the "Queen of Everything" by those who knew her well.

Linda dedicated many years of her life working as a secretary in the real estate industry, where her attention to detail and dedication were greatly appreciated by colleagues and clients alike. In her leisure time, she enjoyed watching television, especially mysteries in her younger years, which fueled her love for intricate stories and suspense.

Her passion for life extended beyond the screen, as she found joy in the thrill of casinos and was an avid fan of Lions football. Linda also had a special fondness for shopping and took great pleasure in collecting angels, believing them to be a source of comfort and beauty.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Sabo; her daughter, Jennifer Fracassa; her parents, Malcolm and Doris Black; her brother, Richard Black; and her brother-in-law, Joe Gurner Jr.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her grandchildren Cassie, Adam (Breanna), Jon (Hailey), Maria, and Izzy, as well as eight great-grandchildren with two more on the way. Her sisters, Sandra Black and Sharon Gurner, along with many nieces and nephews, will forever remember her warmth, generosity, and the joy she brought into their lives.

Linda's memory will be treasured by all who were blessed to know her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, as she watches over them like one of her cherished angels.
