SHORT, Marie., age 81, of Cape Coral, FL., August 09, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Winford Short. Loving mother of Judy (Ron) Wyatt and Jack Short. Dearest grandmother of 3, step-grandmother of 2 and great-grandmother of 11. She is preceded in death by her parents Soloman and Barbara Owens, her sisters Oshi Anderson, Cindy Games, Barbara Sue Wynn and her brothers George Owens, Andrew Owens, Charles Owens, Reed Owens and Soloman Owens, Jr.

Aunt Marie, I didn't get to grow up around you. But the memories I have of you are all to be treasured. When you hot your angel wings I know the heavens sang a beautiful song. Judy & Ron and all that was close to you lost a beautiful soul. But heaven gained one. Till we meet again. And for you a memory of you I will never forget.
