SHURTZ, Marlene M., age 82, of Taylor, January 26, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Charles David Guffey and Gerald Shurtz. Loving mother of David (Judy) Guffey, Dale (Teri) Guffey and DeeAnna (Rick) Tyra and step-mother of Marty Shurtz, Robin (Shelly) Shurtz, Bud (Annette) Shurtz and Timothy (Sherri) Shurtz. Dear grandmother of 24, great-grandmother of 36 and great-great-grandmother of 10. She is also survived by her sister Carol Riley and her brother Dennis (Kristi) Morkert. She is preceded in death by her son Charles Guffey, her step-son Randy Shurtz , her sister Claire Brown and her parents Clarence and Ida Morkert.

Aunt Marlene - I love you and will miss you. You were always good to me. I remember when I was on that trail ride cross the state of Michigan - you feed me and let me take a well needed shower - and Jerry helped me fix my horse trailer. I will miss you! Until we meet again. Ricky Ricky Brown
