Goodbye mom (Mary Smalley), you kept your six children safe and warm and your love for Dad was genuine and taught us what true love and devotion is. You were full of joy, love and hope now it is time to say good bye with some tears in our eyes. You brought Jesus into our home as well as the lives of numerous children you taught in Sunday School. Your love was genuine and kind. You made Christmas special as well as our birthdays, holidays and especially generous in hosting parties with the youth group from church. Fellowship with pastors and hosting missionaries in your home with your servant’s heart. There was some sadness too when we learned of the deaths of cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles even our spouses. But through it all God's love and His word held us together like glue. You are gone now and we can't replace you but all of our memories we will cherish forever. As time goes on things will change but we can find comfort in of the love of God that was taught in our home, it will give us strength. Love you Mom.
Condolences
I have lost a significant prayer warrior to my missionary service for Jesus Christ. I have tons of memories of this dear sweet lady. She was like a second mom to me and always had a kind word of encouragement for me. You were such an example of a Godly woman. I can only pray that follow your example. I will treasure the last few pictures I have of the two of us. You will be missed "Ma Smalley".
Love to the entire Smalley Family!!
In Christ,

One of my favorite scriptural promises is Psalm 116:15 - “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.”
That’s God’s view. Our view is outlined a few verses earlier, starting in verse 8 - “You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.”
God has wonderfully blessed Mary’s life on earth for over 90 years, but now, finally, she is actually walking in the Presence of the Lord in the land of the living, her forever home in heaven. Ron and Irene Graef
