- Kathryn was my oldest and dearest friend. She loved life, adversities and good times. Always impeccably groomed and dressed, with perfect manners and wonderful taste, she was a joy to visit and go out to dinner with. We kept in touch when I lived in Florida and I loved to see her when I returned to Michigan on visits. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had not seen her since the spring, and had been unable to reach her by phone. I, and a number of other friends and co-workers are devastated to learn that she has passed and that we had missed an opportunity to say good-bye. She was loved by all and will not be forgotten. Rest in peace, my friend. I know you are in a better place and with your loved ones. Mary Ellen Hoerig
- We send our love and sympathy to Katherine's family and friends. She was an amazing woman. Katherine was always so loving and kind to everyone. She always did such special things in the most unexpected ways. She always exuded the epitome of class and dignity. She will be missed but will be remembered fondly. Leyon and Sue Harper
