Strong, Michael J., age 52, of Flat Rock. Beloved husband of Sandra. Dearest son of Sara Strong. Loving stepfather of Katrina, Gunnery Sergeant Curt (Liz) and Scott (Jamie). Dear grandfather of 4. He is also survived by his brothers Paul (Patti), Steve (Cindy) and Scott (Patti), his sisters Susan (Bruce), Barbara and Lori and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Winifred Strong. Mr. Strong, a native of Flat Rock, served 7 years in the army, receiving 2 good conduct medals and an honorable discharge. Michael achieved his lifelong goal of becoming a crew member for Dale Earnhardt, Sr. before his untimely death in 2001.
