Obituary

SCHLEICHER, Nova J., age 71, of Southgate, January 2, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Fred Schleicher. Loving mother of Karla (Bernie) Maurer and Jean Ann Schleicher. Dearest grandmother of Jason, B.J., Mandi, Jacob, Cameron, Chloe, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Patti Schleicher, and many nieces, nephews, and very close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents David and Velma Arsenault, sisters Donna Price and JoAnn Stull, her step-children Cheryl Schleicher and Gary Schleicher, and grandson Drew Maurer. Nova was a longtime quilter belonging to many different quilting groups while selling Mary Kay for many years. She was known for being a very supportive grandmother. Nova was a very special woman who touched the lives of many throughout the years. Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
