Schwartz, Richard Charles, age 80, of Waterford, MI. June 23, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Schwartz. Loving father of Sandra (Matthew) Schall and Joanne (Mark) Wilson. Dearest grandfather of Robert, Jeffrey, Rebecca, Benjamin, and Cody. He is also survived by his first wife, Caroline Schwartz, his sisters Nancy (Jack) VanBuhler, Marianne Carr, Alice Teichthesen, his brother Dave (fiancé Joyce) Schwartz and his sister-in-law Toni. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Emma Schwartz , his sister Anita Oben and his brother Conrad Schwartz. Internment in Michigan Memorial Park. Richard owned the Dairy Twist in Wolverine Lake for 15 years.

I was sorry to hear of Dick’s passing. He and my ex husband Leonard Lewandowski were patternmakers. Leonard passed away in 1982 at the age of 47. When I was married to Leonard, Dick was kind enough to take us for a ride on his plane. My deepest sympathy to Dick’s family. Carmela Caruso
