Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert James Sisneros, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Robert departed this life on July 16, 2026, at the age of 80 in Southgate, Michigan.
Born on September 5, 1945, in Ecorse Township, Michigan, Robert lived a life full of love and devotion to his family and passions. He was a man who cherished the simple joys of life, whether he was spending time on the golf course or casting a line while fishing. A skilled pool player, Robert enjoyed the camaraderie and friendly competition that came with the game. Above all, he treasured moments spent with his family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
A proud veteran, Robert served his country honorably as a sergeant in the Army, specializing in artillery. His service was a testament to his strength and dedication, values that he carried with him throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Laura and Santiago Sisneros, and his dear sisters, Harriet Howe and Jean Czach.
Robert leaves behind a legacy of love through his surviving family: his devoted wife, Lynda Sisneros; his children, Robert James (Sheila) Sisneros, Terri (Jeffery Malcolm) Sisneros, and Tracie (Sean) McGuire; and his cherished grandchildren, Hayden Sisneros, Chloe (Ian Williamson) Sisneros, Parker Sisneros, and Morgandy McGuire. He is also survived by his sisters Margaret Roskowski and Laura Armbruster, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Robert's life was marked by his commitment to his loved ones and his passions. His memory will continue to inspire those who knew him, serving as a guiding light of kindness, humor, and dedication.
