Schmittou, Robert L. Sr., age 62, of Monroe. Beloved husband of Virginia. Loving Dad of Paul (Cindy), Kim (LeRoy), Kelly (Mike), Karrie (Jorge) and Robert (Scarlett) and son of Mitchell Gilmore. Dearest grandfather of LeRoy III, Olivia, Lilly, Jacob, Mitchell, Milena and Jordin. Dear brother of Janice, Bo (Betty), Cindy and Sherry. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie and his brother, Randy. Robert was a veteran of the Viet Nam War. He loved the Detroit Tigers. Mr. Schmittou spent 32 years of his life working for Ford.
