Obituary

Williams Andrew Stevens, Sr., age 87, of Sumpter Township, passed away peacefully at his home on October 6, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Loretha Stevens. Loving father of Carol (Ron) Lange, Billy (Tammy) Stevens, Michael Stevens, and Barbara (Leslie) West. Dearest grandfather and great-grandfather to many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his loving sisters. He is preceded in death by his daughter Donna Laurell, grandson Michael Anthony Collins, and parents Walter and Linnie Stevens, and several siblings. William was a longtime member of the Belleville Freewill Baptist Church.

  • It is me again Dad , I miss you more then words can say, I will Always treasure and cherish all of our times together all our trips to West Virgina , all the fun times we shared up on tick ridge in the evenings after a day of 4 wheeling , listening to our blue grass music Jimmy Martin Free Born man will always be the one I cherish the most , then heading back down the mountain to our cabin riding by spook holler :0) and then sitting on the porch watching our blue grass DVD and how we loved it so much and would laugh and talk and you would tell me stories about your child hood and you growing up , and how we would laugh over sheek of thr burning sand and fatina on the zebra skin rug, only you and I know what I am talking about :0) rest in peace papa , always remember I love and miss you and you and mom are always on my mind and in my heart forever , sending all my love your daughter Barb Barb West
