Obituary

TURNER, Alvin L., age 88, of Southgate, August 13, 2018. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Treloar. Loving father of Diane (Gary) Markert, Lynn Ladd, Allen (Sharlene) Turner, Karen (Douglas) Baird and Tracy Soderberg. Dearest grandfather of Nichole Crossman, Bobby Ampezzan, Renee (Gary) Tuccio, Tony (Courtney) Ampezzan, Kimberly Baird, Julia (Antonio) Lombardo, Stephanie Baird and Tony Soderberg and great grandfather of Lauren Crossman, Olivia Crossman and Emma Crossman. He is also survived by his brothers Delbert (Diane) Peters and Donald Peters, sisters Lucille Stroh and Doreen Turner. He was preceded in death by his first wife Genovina Turner, his mother Florence Peters and stepfather Delbert Peters, brothers Frederick Farnsworth and Eugene Farnsworth, sister Norma Berardo, brothers-in-law Paul Stroh and Bob Turner and son-in-law Eric Soderberg.

Condolences

I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing Al for a long time but, I will always cherish the time I spent with him. He was funny, smart, and we had many intellectual debates over a multiple of topics. I will always admire his love, devotion and care for his wife. I know he is now wrapped in the loving arms of the loving God he worshipped. Rest In Peace dear Al Michelle Treloar

Al was my stepfather. I will always remember him for the loving way he cared for my mother. Al was a very wise man who spoke his mind freely. He helped me during a very difficult time in my life. I will miss him dearly but find comfort that I know he’s in Gods arms. David Treloar
