Obituary

Betty L. Toth, 82, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on July 18, 2023.

Betty was born on July 22, 1940 in Wheeling, West Virginia. She attended Maynard Grade School (Maynard, Ohio) and St. Clairsville High School (St. Clairsville, Ohio). Upon graduation she worked for Hanna Coal Co.

In 1960, Betty met George and they were wed on September 16, 1961. The two moved to Michigan in 1962. They later joined St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Wyandotte where she was a devoted parishioner and volunteer.

Betty dedicated her life to her family and friends. She provided a loving, caring home for her entire family. Betty and Bill enjoyed having their daughters come over with their families. Betty loved cooking meals, playing card games, and having family time on the patio while watching the grandchildren play in the yard. She also loved spending time at the casino, playing cards with her friends, and going to the bingo hall.

Betty is survived by her husband George (Bill), their three daughters Patty Toth, MaryBeth (Raymond) Pottorff, Lisa (James) Baker, eight grandchildren, Bradley (Jaclyn), Antonella (Matthew), Brittany (Michael), Courtney (Michael), Elizabeth (Caiden), William, Raymond Jr., and Madelyn, and two great-grandsons Casey and Holden.
