Obituary

Camp Marvin Taylor was born in Hope, Arkansas. He was one of eight siblings born to the parents Robert Albert and Rosie Leonard Taylor. He was proceeded in death by both parents, and six siblings; Leona, Roy, Lorene, Dorthy, Wilburn, and Hattie. He is survived by his youngest sister Bobbie. He was married on February 19th, 1953 to Janet Lou and together they had 6 children; James Robert, Thomas Marvin, Patricia Ann, Susan Marie, Mary Evelyn, and William Wayne, and were blessed with 10 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. He will be laid to rest on May 2nd @ Michigan Memorial by his wife and one grandchild who preceded him in death. After serving in the Korean War, he settled in Michigan where he raised his family working in a steel factory. Upon retirement he was able to spend more time outdoors, and loved taking care of God's earth. He really had a touch for making things grow! Fishing, hunting, gardening and bowling were some of his favorite things! He was a simple righteous man, and will be missed! Plans for a celebration of life are set for June16th @ 2:00 pm @ Mamacitas Restaurant in San Marcos, TX.
