Obituary
Doris Elaine Tertzakian, a beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted follower of her faith, passed away in Riverview, Michigan. Born on March 11, 1936, in Pineville, Missouri, she was the cherished daughter of the late Gayle and Eva Couch.
Doris was a faithful member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, where she found great joy and comfort in her spiritual life. She had a deep love for her church and her Bible, drawing strength and guidance from her faith throughout her life. Doris also enjoyed relaxing moments spent watching "Jeopardy," but her greatest passion was always her family. She treasured every moment with them and made countless memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson Jeremy Gooding, two sisters, and three brothers.
She leaves behind her loving children: Jeff (Edie) Tertzakian, Jerri (Jerry) Rooker, Richard (Laurie) Tertzakian, Denise (Jim) Gooding, and Diane (Mike) Hash. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Jason, Joshua (Christie), Jered, Jessica (Will), Allison, Alex, Andrew, Eli, Theresa, Craig (Sarah), Megan (David), and Robert. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Jacob, Morgan, Casey, Louis, Jace, Aria, and Julia, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Her family and friends will forever hold in their hearts the warmth of her love and the strength of her spirit.
