Obituary

TACKETT, Girley., age 83, of New Boston, October 31, 2020. Beloved wife of Herbert Tackett. Loving mother of Terry (Mary) Tackett and Gregory (Julie) Tackett. Dearest grandmother of Rachel,Faith, Adam and Emma and great-grandmother of Ethan and Anna. She is also survived by her brothers Charles Henson. and Boy Henson. She is preceded in death by her parents Roosevelt and Celia Henson and 9 siblings.

Condolences

Girley warmly welcomed every person she met into her home. Even after only one visit, she would remember and ask about you, your family, how you were doing, and when you might be able to visit again. It seemed one of her greatest delights was sitting at the kitchen table, or in the family room, or, later, in the living room, just listening and chatting with family and friends. Girley was, and is, a gift that was bestowed upon everyone who was blessed to know her. She is smiling upon her loved ones evermore. Elizabeth Rice
