Obituary

Hope Lynette Twitty, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, gaga, and friend, passed away on June 30, 2026, in Taylor, Michigan. Born on March 27, 1972, in Portsmouth, Virginia, she graced this world for 54 years with her warmth, kindness, and vivacious spirit.

Hope embraced life with enthusiasm and a love for adventure. Her career as a Dental Assistant reflected her dedication and compassion, always ensuring those around her felt comfortable and cared for. Beyond her professional life, Hope had a passion for music, which filled her home and heart with joy. She was an avid world traveler, finding delight in exploring new cultures and places. Her love for shopping, especially thrift shopping, was well-known among her friends and family, as was her penchant for getting her nails done.

Hope cherished the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time in her backyard with family. Her green thumb was evident in her beautiful garden, where she lovingly tended to flowers and plants. Her gatherings were filled with laughter, love, and the delightful aroma of blossoms.

Hope is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Diane Luton, and her sister Kerrie. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her fiancé, Jerry Wooten; her children, Caitlyn, Brooke, Ethan, and Aiden; and her adored grandchildren, Elliott, Cora, and Edeline. She is also survived by her sisters, Diana and Melissa (Dustin), along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her cherished cat, Pre Pre.

Hope's legacy is one of love, joy, and an unyielding zest for life. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will continue to inspire and bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
