Jesse's life was a testament to love and companionship. He met the love of his life, Shelby, at her sister's wedding where he was the Best Man. They married on October 26, 2001, and cherished 26 beautiful years together. His happiest moments were shared with Shelby, whether cruising to distant shores, escaping winter's chill in Florida, or enjoying summer trips up North when they would go to casinos. Together they found delight in life's little adventures, from car rides to Walmart visits that always ended with a special find.
Jesse was an avid golfer, finding peace and joy in the green expanse of the course. His son Kevin fondly remembers him not only as an exceptional father but also as his best friend. Jesse was the epitome of kindness, never uttering a harsh word against anyone and always cherishing time spent with family and friends. His warmth and generosity extended beyond his immediate family, creating a welcoming circle of friends who treasured his company.
Though preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Turner Sr. and Dorothy Turner, his son Jesse Turner, his stepson Jeff Oliver, and his siblings Fred Turner and Jeanie Holmes, Jesse's legacy of love endures with those he leaves behind. He is survived by his devoted wife Shelby Turner; his loving son Kevin Turner; and his stepchildren Todd Oliver and Rick (Michelle) Oliver. Jesse's memory will continue to inspire his grandchildren Angel (Nick), Jessica (Acrym), Josh, Ricky, and Joseph, as well as his great-grandchildren Samantha (Aiden), Faith (Romance), Bella, Jayce, Mia, Zacharia, and Oliver. Also left to cherish his memory are his beloved furbabies Patty and Minnie.
