THACKER, John H, age 90, of Trenton, January 31, 2022. Beloved husband of Genell Thacker. Loving father of Susan Miller and Karen Thacker Carlson. Fond brother-in-law of Beulah, Thelma, Helen, Wilma, and Clarence. Dearest grandfather to Eric Miller, Melissa Houck, Peter Carlson, and loved by all 10 great-grandchildren. He is survived by many close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Henly and Susanne Thacker, brothers Russell, George, Barton, Kelly, James, and his sisters Ana Lenore, Edna, and Elizabeth. John was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army who served during the Korean War. He retired after almost 40 years with McClouth Steel. He was a faithful member of Beacon Baptist Church and formerly First Baptist Church of Lincoln Park
