Obituary
Linda Lee Turbin, born on November 14, 1948, in Dearborn, passed away on April 18, 2026, in Wayne at the age of 77. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness and dedication.
Linda devoted over 30 years to teaching special education, where she made a lasting impact on countless students and their families. Her passion for reading and her love for spending time with her grandchildren were central to her life, bringing joy and warmth to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Laurence and Edith Boese. Linda is survived by her beloved husband, David Turbin, loving children, Stephanie (Randy) Ferguson, Matthew (Julia) Turbin, and Katherine (James) Heller; her cherished step-children, Jennifer (Jeremy) Whitmore and Michael Turbin; and her adored grandchildren, Dana, Andrew, Jackson, Samantha, Nicole, Joel, and Joanna, as well as her treasured great-grandchildren, Lilliana, Alexander, and Victoria. Her sister, Loreen Boese, also survives her, along with numerous cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, reflecting Linda's lifelong commitment to helping others. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
