TORBERT, Margaret, age 91, of Canton, March 10, 2019. Loving mother of Duane (Lynn) Torbert, Linda (Philip) Meier and Patricia (the late Glen) Trautner. Dear grandmother of Nicholas Meier, Allison (Scott) Steves, Leah (Jason) Gedvilas, Kristin (Andy) Doss, William Meier, Emily Meier, Eric Torbert and Martha Torbert and great-grandmother of Bradley Gedvilas, Landon Gedvilas and Mason Steves. Margaret proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant. She was a secretary at Sterling Elementary School for 26 years. In her spare time she was an avid volunteer within the Sterling, Virginia community. Her cremation took place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
