Obituary

TITTLE, Michael L., age 72, of Grosse Ile, November 10, 2019. Beloved husband of Brenda Tittle. Loving father of Shawn (Laura Choi) Tittle, Tiffany (Mike) Dean and Tamara (Mark) Johnson. Dearest grandfather of Anderson, Wyatt, Jackson, Chloe, Grace and Gabriel. Cherished brother of Linda Hendrix, Joni DeCoster and Shelli Tocco. Michael Tittle was born to Wyatt and Edith Tittle on September 30, 1947 in Haleyville, Alabama. He was the second of four children. Michael moved to Wyandotte, Michigan at a young age and grew up there. Michael married the love of his life, Brenda Bryson on January 25, 1969. He graduated from Memphis State University with a Bachelors in Marketing. Michael had the foresight to recognize the opportunity in the developing heart rhythm industry and was a national leader in pacemakers and heart defibrillator development and sales for his entire career until he retired. He took great pride in his work ethic and his dedication to patients in need, as well as providing for his family to the best of his ability. One consistent mission his entire life was to be the best Christian he could be. Michael showed this by being a devoted husband, loving father, doting grandfather, follower of Jesus, and he was a servant leader of his church family, Gateway Church of Christ, for 30 years. To his final stages of his illness, he was still focused on showing the love of Jesus and being grateful for his blessings. Michael will forever be a guiding light and we will strive to carry on his legacy of leading others to Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents Wyatt and Edith Tittle, brother-in-law Kenneth Hendrix, brother-in-law Michael Mossburg, sister-in-law Carol Bryson, sister-in-law Karen Swiney, in-laws J.B. Bryson and Irma Bryson. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

  • Our sincere sympathy to all the family on the passing of Mike. May the God of all comfort give you comfort and peace now and in the future. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ" (2 Cor. 1:3-5). In Christian Love, Steve & Susan Waller Stephen Paul Waller
