  • Our dearest brother Mike - All of our hearts are broken and the tears will never stop. You were not only the "best" brother in the world, but you were the "best friend" also. We will miss your beautiful smile, your warm loving ways, your hilarious jokes and teasing, but most of all you. Everything was always more fun when you were there. You always lit up a room. I'll miss our daily talks, our coffee clutches, your warm bear hugs and kisses and your sweet voice "love you sis". There was never a kinder, more humble soul on this earth than our "Little Mikey". No matter how old we got, you were always my little brother. you will be missed so much by all of us and your countless friends from the K of C and Henry Ford. Everybody loved you sweetheart. I have a hole in my heart that will never be filled. I know God was waiting for you with open arms, because you truly were an Angel here on Earth. You gave and gave until your heart couldn't give anymore. Until we meet again my sweetest brother, I love you... Your sis & Don Don & Bernadette Kubrak
  • I loved Mike. He was so good to me. Letting me be a “third wheel” when Mike and my sister Cindy went out. So many Christmases he and I would go shopping for Cindy. He was just so generous and kind. He was Godfather to both of my sons. And he loved us. To his sister and brothers, nieces and nephews, hold onto all those great Mike memories, Because I have millions of great memories and all of you must have a billion. I love you Mike and will miss you always. Susan

  • I worked with Mike at Wyandotte Hospital for about 4 years. He was always, always nice. His laugh and smile always brought more around him. He never seemed sad or distraught. I did not know at the time that he was a Knight of Columbus. He had pictures up and told me stories of him racing at a track back in the day. He was kind and generous, a friend to all and an enemy to none that I knew. I was able to speak with him at the last fish fry and catch up with him for the first time in years at the same K of C Hall in Wyandotte just a week before that. I hope I never forget him. As we are reminded in the phrase Memento Mori, we have already died and been raised up in Christ, persevering in Faith to the end of this earthly existence. Vivat Jesus in Mike and so we need not shed too many years, because he is now waiting to see us all in the Light of Christ Recquiescat in Pace Brother Marc LaDuke
