Pamuela Sue "Susie" Townley, aged 71, passed away on March 20, 2026, in Flat Rock, Michigan. Susie was born on October 12, 1954, a beloved mom, wife, grandma "baby", sister and friend to many.
Susie was a woman who found joy in the warmth of her kitchen, where she loved cooking for friends and family, creating not just meals but memories that will be cherished by all who knew her. Her love and nurturing spirit extended beyond the walls of her home, touching the lives of many.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James "Rayford" Townley, her mother, Jacqueline Sims, her sister Diane and her brother Timmy. Her legacy continues through her surviving family: her son, Michael (Angela) Szabo; her two grandchildren, Michael (Jeannine) Szabo, and Cheyenne (Hunter) Oxley. She also leaves behind her treasured great-grandchildren, Levi, Kainen, Orianna, Lennox, and one great-grandchild on the way, Dominic. Susie is also survived by her dear sisters Trish and Lisa, and her brother Mike.
Though she has departed from this world, Susie's loving spirit and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
