TURBETT, Robert., age 61, of Allen Park, October 2, 2016. Loving father of Deidre and Margaret Turbett. Beloved son of William Turbett and son-in-law of Alberta Blair Blanton. He is preceded in death by his wife Vincetta and his mother Nella Turbett. He is also survived by his brothers Andrew (Tracey) and Gavin (Paula) Turbett. Robert loved football, especially the Lions. He loved all Detroit sportsteams and was an avid fan. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He will be remembered for his caring and kindness to his friends and family. He expressed a “dislike” for cats, however he provided a loving home for 3 homeless kittens. Mr. Turbett was a gentle man with a big heart. Service is Friday, 7:00 PM at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home (next to Michigan Memorial Park) 30895 Huron River Dr., Huron Twp., (734) 783-2646. Visitation is Friday, 5:00 ~ 8:00 PM. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
