TILLEN, Robert “Bob” J., age 89, of Allen Park, March 16, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Audrey Tillen. Loving father of Roberta (Vik) Brown and Kim Tillen. Dearest grandfather of Benjamin (Dana) Brown and Jessica (James Mysliwiec) Brown. He is survived by his brother Richard Tillen. Robert was born in the Roaring Twenties. He grew up during trying times of The Great Depression and had a number of jobs from early age resulting in a lifelong respect for hard work. Immediately following graduation from high school, Bob was drafted into WWII. He reached the rank of Sergeant and was a rifle sharpshooter. Robert served in Post-occupation Japan. Bob and Audrey were married for 64 years.
