TROUNGO, William J., age 78, of Trenton, September 24, 2020. Beloved husband of 33 years of Kathy Troungo. Loving father of Elizabeth (Sam) Doss, Bill Wood and Matthew (Candace Ward) Wood. Dearest grandfather of Jim (Holly), Mitchell, Kristi, Bryce, Brett, Mikayla and Brandon and great-grandfather of Lincoln. He is also survived by his in-laws John and Jean Gronda, brothers-in-law Harlie Gurganus, John Gronda and Chris (Kim) Gronda, his sisters-in-law Julie Gronda and Michele Gronda and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents John and Evelyn Troungo and his sisters Judy Jividen and Shirley Gurganus. William graduated Detroit Barber College and cut hair in his early years. Later he worked as a custodian and then groundsman for Trenton Public Schools for 35 years. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
