Obituary

Lois Lucille Umin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born on May 17, 1942, in New Boston, Michigan, where she spent her life surrounded by family and friends.

Lois loved the outdoors and cherished the times she spent camping with her loved ones. Her happiest moments were those spent in the company of her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought endless joy to her life.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Umin; her daughter, Lorie (Dean) Glinski; and her son, Richard (Kim) Umin Jr. Lois also leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth in her grandchildren: Nicole  (Tim) Moody, Natalie (Willy) Glinski, Deana (Chris) Villalavoes, Alyssa (Brandon) Mullins, Sierra Umin, and Richard Umin III. Her great-grandchildren, Dakotah Frahm, Talon Villalavoes, Charlotte Bowles, Zaiden Villalavoes, Paislee Villalavoes, Kembryl Villalavoes, Cooper Mullins, Raelynn Mullins, and River Mullins, will carry forward her spirit and memory.

Lois is also survived by her siblings, Nancy Moore, Janice Dulecki, Robert Ziegler, and Shirley Zilka, who will forever cherish her memory.

Lois will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
