Obituary

Gail Estelle Vespa, born on January 17, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on October 26, 2025, in Gladwin, Michigan, at the age of 77.

Gail was a woman who found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a deep love for crafting, often spending countless hours creating beautiful pieces that reflected her boundless creativity and attention to detail. Her garden was a testament to her nurturing spirit, a place where she cultivated not only plants but also cherished memories with those she loved. Christmas held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in bringing the magic of the season alive for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Stella Fesler, and her beloved grandson, James Matthew Hamilton. Her memory will be lovingly carried forward by her devoted husband, Dennis Vespa; her son, James Wesley (Misty) Hamilton; and her grandchildren, Amber (Madison) Nicole Hendrix and Wesley Aaron Hamilton. She also leaves behind a great-grandchild, Marlee Oaklynn Hendrix, and her siblings Dale (Larry) Massengill, Earl (Wes) Fesler (Amy), and Jill (Dave) Buerkle, along with numerous nieces and nephews who adored her.

Gail's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The legacy of her gentle spirit and the love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
