Obituary

VARGA, Robert L., age 75, of Newport, August 17, 2021. Beloved partner of Janice Nozewski. Loving father of Lee, Sean, Nichola, Victoria, Erica and Monica (Mark). Dearest grandfather and great-grandfather of several. He is also survived by his sister Sandy (George) and his brother Bill (Carol). He is preceded in death by his parents William and Rose. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

Condolences

Bob was a truly kind gentleman, and he welcomed me with open arms to the family. I met him about three years ago but unfortunately for the last year or so I didn't get to spend much time with him. But that was on me. I am truly grateful for getting to know what a stand up man he was. For the last year or so Bob was blessed to have Erica right by his side reading with him and doing daily devotionals. I truly believe he's at peace now. Bob was a great stand up man, being a great father and grandfather as well. He will truly be missed. And to the family, Godspeed and God Bless!!! Jason Jinkerson
Barbara & I express our sincere deepest sympathy to our family members on the loss of Bob. We have a private Mass being said for Bob on Wednesday. August 25th, at St. Bonaventure’s Monastery in Detroit. We will keep all of you in our prayers asking God’s awesome healing power to bring you closure at the proper time.
