Victor Jude Vecchio, born on December 23, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on February 28, 2026, in Southgate, Michigan, at the age of 82.
Victor was a man of many passions, including his dedication to the Knights of Columbus and his enthusiasm for motorcycles. He also held a deep connection with the United Steel Workers, reflecting his commitment to community and camaraderie.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Victor and Martha Vecchio, his great-grandchild Jace Roll, and his brother Ken Vecchio.
Victor leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Kaaren Vecchio; his children, Jerry (Lynne) Parr, Lisa (Andrew) Valade, and Tony (Angie) Vecchio; his grandchildren, Katie (Derek) Parr, Julie (Eric) Parr-Roll, Michael (Chelsea) Parr, Cassidy (Andy) Valade, Delaney Valade, Kylie Valade, Nicholas Vecchio, and Carmyn Vecchio; and his great-grandchildren, Ashlynne Parr, Ella Roll, and Lyla Roll. He will also be missed by his beloved dog, JJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, honoring Victor's spirit of generosity and care for others.
