Obituary

Adam Gregory Widby, born on February 6, 1981, in Dearborn, Michigan, passed away on September 12, 2024 at the age of 43.

Adam was a man of many talents and passions. He worked diligently in sales within the beverage industry, where he was known for his dedication and expertise. However, it was his love for music that truly defined him. Adam had a profound passion for music, which led him to pursue a career as a DJ. His talent and entrepreneurial spirit drove him to start his own DJing business, bringing joy and entertainment to countless events.

Beyond his professional life, Adam was a man who cherished the simple pleasures of life. He had a love for cooking. He was also known for his great sense of humor, Adam had a unique ability to make those around him laugh, always bringing light and joy to any room he entered.

Adam's greatest joy came from spending time with his beloved daughter, Brynlee. He was a kind-hearted and supportive father who always put others first. His intelligence and playful nature made him a fun uncle to his nieces and nephews, and his stubborn yet loving personality endeared him to everyone who met him. His presence was magnetic, attracting individuals just by walking into a room.

Adam was also a devoted and amazing fiancé to Crystal, providing unwavering support and love.

He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony Widby. Adam is survived by his fiancée, Crystal; his daughter, Brynlee; his mother, Carol; his siblings, Anthony Jr., Matthew (Sonja) Widby, George Widby, Ann Marie (Jon) Yacks, and Tara (Steve) Perez. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

His cremation will take place at "The Witness Crematory" located inside Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

Condolences

  • We are so very sorry about your loss. Adam will always be in your heart. Aunt Judy and Uncle Mick Yacks
  • I had the honor of managing Adam the last two years at Pepsi. Adam always wanting the best for others including his customers. We had many deep conversations about the beverage business where he always asked great questions. Our deep conversations of the beverage business would go on longer than they should because we both had a passion for what we do. I will miss Adam. He will be missed by his entire Pepsi family. He may be gone but he will not be forgotten. Josh Flaig
  • My deepest sympathy . Praying for everyone. Love you all Mandy Mandy Craanen
