WALTON, Anna R., age 88, of Southgate, January 10, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Walton. Loving mother of Kim (Geary) Nagy, Lisa (Ron) Arbenowske, and mother-in-law of Judy Walton. Dearest grandmother of Jenny (Darrin) Laura, John Kurc, Jessica (Barry) Kirksey, Holly Walton (Dennis McCullough), Lindsey (Derek) O’Brien, and great-grandmother of Jocelyn, Jenna, Emily, Nic, Penelope, and Myla. She is survived by her siblings John (Freida) Sammons, Jim (Linda) Sammons, Gussie Liddle, Doris (Dave) Sawicki, sister-in-law Melissa Sammons, many nieces, nephews, family, friends, and furbaby Rita. She is preceded in death by her daughter Lynn Walton, son Gary Walton, great-granddaughter Jordyn Laura, parents John and Blanche Sammons, and siblings Stella Reichow, Pansy Solo, Pearl Seitz, Nancy Lambroff, and Michael Sammons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
