WEISS, April Dawn, age 54, of Newport. Beloved wife of Scott Weiss. Loving mother of Courtney and Cody Weiss. Dear sister of Elden (Mary) Sorenson, Jr., Dale Sorenson, Chystal (Marshall) Ledbetter and Brenda (Dennis) Papineau. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Elden, Sr and Ruthann Sorenson and her brother Robb Sorenson. For ten years April was a medical first responder in Estral Beach. She also worked for Mercy Memorial Hospital in Monroe and for 35 years was a beautician.
