Curtis "Bill" White, born on February 2, 1949, in Wyandotte, Michigan, passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on February 22, 2025, in Wayne, Michigan.
Bill was a man whose passions were as vibrant as his spirit. He held a deep love for racing hot rods and spent much of his life immersed in the world of speed and precision that only the finest craftsmanship could achieve. His enthusiasm for this pastime was matched by few, and he leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories at the racetrack and in the garage.
He was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Michael Maxson, and his devoted parents, Curtis and Flora White. Bill’s family was a source of great joy and comfort to him throughout his life.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews: Michael (Lora) Maxson, Laurie (Jim) Kilgore, Robert Maxson, and Melissa (Dan) Watchmaker. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Wanda Maxson. Their continued love and support enriched Bill’s life, and he was ever grateful for the bonds they shared.
Bill's steadfast presence and love of life's adventures will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him.
