- Dearest Robbin, John and I are sending our deepest condolences in the loss of your too young, son. He was here on earth shall a short time and since he was your son, I know he was beautiful inside and out, just like his mom. Bigs til we meet again. Gloria John and Gloria Forrest
- This absolutely breaks my heart. Derek was one of my best friends growing up from middle school through high school. He was always so much fun and constantly made me laugh. - I am so sorry for the loss of Derek. He was such a sweet, funny, adorable kid!! He grew up to be a kind, nice, respectful adult. He would do anything to help you, it didn't matter what. - Derek was a wonderful, polite young man who always treated us with the utmost respect when he stayed with us those 2 years in Florida. He always pitched in and helped Grandpa and I whenever and wherever we needed a hand. I loved to cook for him; because he loved to eat! He never failed to thank us for the good food and always gave me a hand cleaning up the kitchen after a meal. He and I spent a lot of time up at the pool before Nicole and Javen were able to join us down in Florida. He got a kick out of seeing the other Retirees responses while they watched us; because he figured they thought I was his SugarMama! Javen, you can be assured that he loved you very much. May God walk with him and hold him in his loving arms. Our condolences to Nicole, Javen, and to his Mother, Father, Sisters and other family and friends. - Derek read this verse to me numerous times and asked me to have it read at his funeral so I am fulfilling his wishes. John 16:22 - Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. My deepest sympathy goes to the entire family. I am so sorry and I know words really don't fix your hurting heart. I will be praying for everyone. Derek, I know we had our problems but I love you with my entire being and I know you are watching over me and the kids. Chloe and Covin want you to know they love you very much and miss you. - He was like a son to me. I will love him until the day I am called home and see him again. He was always smiling and laughing and was a joy to be around. We went on so many camping trips to Jones Lake and had so much fun. You will be missed my dear nephew and always cherished in my heart.
