Donald Arthur Wiseman, a cherished resident of Rockwood, Michigan, passed away on August 25, 2026, in Brownstown Township, Michigan. Born on July 10, 1923, in Detroit, Michigan, he lived a remarkable 103 years, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and service to his community and family.

Donald served his country with honor as a Marine Corps veteran during World War II. His sense of duty extended beyond military service; he was a steadfast presence in the Rockwood community. A devoted Mason for many years, Donald also volunteered as a firefighter in Rockwood, showcasing his commitment to the safety and well-being of his neighbors. He further contributed to the town by serving as a city councilman, earning the respect and admiration of those around him.

In 1984, Donald retired from DTE after many years of hard work, allowing him to devote more time to his passion for golf. Even well into his 90s, he remained active on the golf course, a testament to his enduring spirit and zest for life.

Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Letty Wiseman, his son, Terry Wiseman, and his grandson Joshua and great-grandchildren Andy and Evelyn. He is survived by his loving children, Thomas (Ronda) Wiseman and Daniel (Janet) Wiseman, along with his daughter-in-law, Sherry Wiseman. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, John, Kristy, Daniel (Melanie), Jennifer (Jeremy), Tyler (Nikki), Matthew (Jill), and great-grandchildren, Kenton, Maria, Daniel, Sydney, Tucker, Wade, Vivian, Tyler, Madison, Lincoln, and Austin. He was also blessed with three great-great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Abigail, and Isabelle.

Donald Arthur Wiseman will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to family, community, and country. His memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
