Obituary
Estill Neil Wolfenbarger, a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 4, 2026, in Lincoln Park, Michigan, just shy of his 82nd birthday. He was born on September 16, 1944, in Fonde, Kentucky.
Estill led a life full of simple joys and passions. A devoted fan of the Detroit Tigers, he found great delight in baseball. He enjoyed the thrill of visiting the casino and trying his luck with the Michigan Lottery. Estill had a generous spirit, contributing lovingly to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, driven by a heartfelt desire to help children. His love for animals, especially his cats, reflected his nurturing nature. Known for being a man on the go, Estill was always active and embraced life with energy and enthusiasm.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son Eddie Balthis, his dear wife Anna Wolfenbarger, and his parents, Ballard and Lula Wolfenbarger.
Estill leaves behind a legacy of love through his surviving family: his children Don (Jennifer) Balthis and Thomas (Valerie) Wolfenbarger; his grandchildren Samantha, Kimberly, Eric, Tyler, Hailey, Josh, Michael, Kristina, and Bryanna; and four great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his siblings Chester Odell and Ruth Thomas, who will cherish his memory.
Estill Neil Wolfenbarger will be fondly remembered for his vibrant spirit, his love for family, and his generous heart.
