
Obituary
Frank Thomas Wisniewski, Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and veteran, passed away on February 19, 2025, in Taylor, Michigan, at the age of 85. Born on September 14, 1939, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Frank lived a life marked by dedication to his family, country, and community.
Frank leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years, Georgeanne, his children David (Sandy), Loriann (the late David) Tomasovitch, and Marc (Elizabeth). He was the proud grandfather (Grandpap) of Connor (Destinee), Courtney (Ryan), Chloe, Joseph, Nicholas, and Benjamin, and great-grandchildren Addison and Jasmine. He is also survived by his sister, Florence Brys, along with many nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones who will miss him dearly.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Stephania Wisniewski; his sisters, Ann Oldenski, Mary Ann Nawrocki, Josephine Kaczynski, Frances Pugliese, and Sophie Balog, and his brother, Edward Wisniewski.
Frank proudly served as a Military Police officer in the United States Army, where he exemplified honor and duty. Following his military service, he had a long and successful career in logistics at Ford Motor Company. He was a member of the VFW Post 1136 and the American Legion Post 217, both located in Wyandotte, Michigan.

His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
