Obituary

WORD-HILL, Holly D., was born November 08, 1948 to Billie Mae Byrd-Braboy and James A. Brayboy of Lumberton, NC. She was married to Jimmie Lee Hill and birthed one daughter prior to her divorce. After her divorce she moved to Detroit with her mother and continued to fulfill her life aspirations. She birthed four more children. She was a loving mother who cared for her children and family with all her heart. If you met her, she took you in and would do anything she could to help others. She worked in the school system where she touched many people through her love and generosity. She worked hard to give us a good life and to bless the lives of others. She loved the Lord and studied hard to receiver her minister license. She received this licensing through Memorial Tabernacle of River Rouge, MI under the leadership of Bishop Walker. She was a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be truly missed by everyone she knew. Her legacy will undoubtedly live on through each and every one of the lives she touched for decades to come. She is the loving mother of Marian Hill, Alice Hill-Irvin, Ronald Morgan, Billie Morgan and Abel Jones-Bey. Loving grandmother of 22 and great-grandmother of 9 and 1 on the way. She is also survived by 1 brother and her special friend Ronald Morgan Sr. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Billie Brayboy, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
