Jacqueline Ann "Jackie" Weick, born on August 22, 1964, in Dearborn, Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, at the age of 60.
Jackie was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Les Weick, with whom she spent 33 wonderful years. Her love and dedication to her family were evident in every aspect of her life. Cherished and adored by her children, Alicia (Austin) Gilbert and Brendan (Julia Rintala) Weick, Jackie's nurturing spirit extended to her treasured furbabies Violet, Chloe, and Callie, as well as her grandfurbabies Bruin, Marie, and Luna.
Her passions were diverse and vibrant. Jackie found joy in gardening, cooking, and baking, and her home was often filled with delicious aromas and beautiful flowers. She delighted in visits to Myrtle Beach and treasured time at the family's "Home on the Lake" on Black Lake, where many happy memories were made. Jackie was an enthusiastic supporter of Michigan Football and found creative fulfillment in crafting, especially with her Cricut machine. The warmth of her personality shone brightest when she was surrounded by family on the back patio, enjoying laughter and stories by the glow of a bonfire. Friday night date nights were a cherished tradition she eagerly anticipated.
A kind and generous soul, Jackie was known for her humor, compassion, and selflessness.
She proudly served as a nurse at the University of Michigan Hospital for 39 years. She truly had a gift for putting others' needs before her own and bringing smiles to those around her. Shopping excursions were also one of her favorite past times.
Jackie is preceded in death by her mother, Jane Doss. She leaves behind her father Larry Doss, her siblings, Rob (Patty) Doss, Larry (Staci) Doss, and Cherry (Shaun) Milaszewski, who, along with numerous nieces and nephews, sister-in-law to many, and friends, will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness continues to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. Jackie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who shared in her beautiful journey.
