Obituary
Jeannette Wilson, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on January 26, 2025, in Riverview, Michigan, at the age of 84. Born on August 7, 1940, in Dearborn, Michigan, Jeannette lived a life full of love, devotion, and joy.
A dedicated homemaker throughout her life, Jeannette found great happiness in her family, who were the center of her world. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always offering them her unwavering support and love.
Jeannette's passions were many. She had a beautiful voice and loved singing, often filling her home with music. A gifted poet, she expressed her heart through her verses. In her free time, she enjoyed visiting the casino, finding joy and excitement in life's simple pleasures. Above all, her faith was paramount; Jesus was at the heart of her life, guiding her actions and decisions.
A true animal lover, Jeannette had a special fondness for dogs, cherishing their companionship throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack, and her parents, LaVern and Clara. She also joins her siblings Buck, Arlene (the late Don), and Earl (the late Sandy) in eternal rest.
Jeannette is survived by her loving children: Linda (Frank) Stover, Brenda (Tim) Underwood, David (Tawn) Wilson, and Jack Wilson Jr. She leaves behind 9 cherished grandchildren and 13 adored great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.
Jeannette is also survived by her sisters, Gloria (Jerry), Linda (John), and Arine (Sandy), as well as her sister-in-law, Pat. She will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews, along with countless friends who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating Jeannette's life will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with entombment to follow in Michigan Memorial Park.
Jeannette's spirit, warmth, and love touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
