WHITAKER JR., John, age 88, of Southgate, February 2, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Wilma Jean Whitaker. Loving father of Cindy (Naif), Laurie and Patty (Rick). Dear grandfather of John Michael (Lisa), Jennifer (Jonathan), Kirk (Tara), Phillip (Gwyn) and Jane (John) . Dearest great grandfather of Timothy, Melanie, Ryan, Daniel, Thomas, K.C., and Brantley. He was preceded in death by his mother Annabelle, sister Gracie and his brother-in-law Hobert. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
