Obituary

Katherine George Wagoner, 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 17, 2025.
Born on July 18, 1959, Katherine lived a life full of love, creativity, and dedication to helping others.

Katherine’s career began as a chemist after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. Her innate passion for caring for others led her to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN), becoming a Registered Nurse in 1998. Katherine went on to achieve her Master’s Degree in Quality Management (MSQM) in 2012. She then worked tirelessly in various nursing leadership roles before retiring in 2024. Katherine was known for her commitment to quality patient care, patient safety, and her compassionate leadership.

Outside of her professional life, Katherine was a talented artist, creating beautifully intricate stained glass and mosaic pieces that reflected her vibrant spirit and creativity.

She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Wagoner; her son, Derek Herrmann (wife Renee); her daughter, Kate Krisniski (husband Joseph); her cherished grandchildren, Jacob Herrmann, Jude Krisniski, and Samuel Krisniski; and her beloved German Shepherd, Berlin. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mildred George, and her brothers, Daniel and Keith George.

In accordance with Katherine’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.

Katherine will be remembered for her kindness, her dedication to her family, and the beauty she brought into the world through both her passionate nature and her art
