WASIK, Lawrence S., Jr., age 92, of Allen Park, September 19, 2014. Beloved husband of Mary E. Wasik. Loving father of Laurie A. Gonzalez of Van Buren Twp., MI and Dennis L. (Dyan) Wasik of Bradenton, FL. Cherished grandfather of Timothy, Brittany, Kristin, Scott, Jeffrey, great-grandfather of 5 and great-great-grandfather of 1. Dear brother of Nicholas Wasik. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Teresa Wasik and Helen Nance. He was preceded in death by his brothers Joseph, Ignatius, Frank, Theophil, Walter and John. Lawrence proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired in 1977 from General Motors Fleetwood Fisher Body Plant.
