Obituary
Melva Faye Warnock of South Lyon, Michigan left us on Friday, October 18, 2024 after an eleven year battle with mesothelioma. She was preceded by her parents, Melvin and Faye and her sister, Sheila. Melva leaves her husband, Roger, her brother Bruce, her kids, her step kids, her grandchildren, and her multitude of cousins that she loved so much. Melva was born in Dearborn, Michigan, September 2, 1947, She graduated from Lincoln Park High School in 1965 and Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors in Market Research and a minor in Advertising. Melva loved the sales game and had a successful career in sales and marketing. Her undying love of University of Michigan football was legendary. Nothing thrilled her more than sitting on the 50-yard-line of the Big House. Melva and Roger spent wonderful years together traveling and riding their Goldwing throughout the US. Their travels to our National Parks were a particularly favorite thing.
Services will be at Michigan Memorial, 30895 Huron River Drive, Flat Rock, Michigan 48134. Melva and her family have many allergies, so please consider a donation to the National Park Foundation to preserve the lands she and Roger enjoyed so much in lieu of flowers.
