- I just heard of Mike's passing. I am so very sorry. He was such a great true and faithful friend. Mike and I had Spanish class together and all we talked about was basketball!! He loved the game and was an excellent player.i am so sad to have lost such a good friend. I wish his family the sublime peace that can come knowing he is resting in heaven. Mike thank you for all you brought to each life you touched, especially all those young men you coached in basketball. Each one will remember you throughout their lives. God Bless youMike. Big Mike took the role of my grandfather , even though it was through marriage and we were miles apart, he always made me feel welcome and apart of the family. He was one of a kind. - Mike was the best neighbor and friend anyone could ask for, he will be truly missed by all of us. He was always willing to lend a hand weather it be cutting the grass or working on our vehicles.
